Our Mission

Our mission is to minister Christ to the nations of the world by modeling first century church within the 21st century context. We are committed to the holistic teaching, preaching of the Word of God, training and equipping of believers to do the works of Christ in our contemporary world. Jesus said in
John 20:21- “ ...As the Father has sent Me so I send you.”

Our Vision

Our vision is founded on Hebrews 11:3 “By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.” We’re committed to equip believers to live a life of victory in Christ by teaching the principles of faith found in The WORD of God. We exist to build faith in God through His Word so that believers experience the fullness of God's blessings and fulfill God's calling for their lives.

Our History

Hello, my name is Pastor Christian Fiadonu. I am the Pastor of Word Faith Chapel Int. Church. I had my first encounter with God when I gave my life to Christ while studying for a math degree in college in 1991. I was reading the book of Ruth in the bible when I had this encounter with God. In this encounter God told me that He was calling me into the work of the ministry. Right after this I established a Christian Fellowship for students on campus which I led until I graduated. Soon after graduation, I taught high school Math and volunteered part-time as an associate Pastor of a local Evangelical Church, in Ghana West Africa for a season. God then called me full-time to plant a new Local Evangelical Church in another location. By the grace of God, after successfully planting this new Church and pastoring it for a season, God called me to the United States of America, where I attended Faith Bible Institute and Denver Seminary in Denver- Colorado. I graduated with a Masters in Divinity Degree with emphasis in pastoral counseling in 2008. Over the years, the Lord has led me to teach his people how to put their faith in His Word so they can live out who they are in Christ, fulfill His destiny for their lives, and influence the world around them with the principles of His kingdom. The Lord has laid a solid and tested foundation, and He is now leading me to start a new Local Evangelical Church here in Lakewood- Colorado in order to continue to equip His people to apply His Word to their lives thereby advancing His kingdom around them.

What we Teach
We are called to teach believers in Jesus Christ how to fulfill their God given destinies and influence the world around them by learning how to apply the principles of faith in God’s Word. We are called to teach believers how to apply these principles in every sphere of their lives.

Statement of Faith
Word Faith Chapel International Church considers the following statements to be true according to the infallible Word of the One true and living God.
WE BELIEVE the Bible in its entirety is inspired by God and final and infallible authority for faith and conduct. 2 Timothy 3:16
WE BELIEVE in the One True God- Father, Son and Holy Spirit- the Creator of the universe.
WE BELIEVE the Lord Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, was crucified, died and was buried; He was resurrected, ascended into heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father and is true God and true man. John 1:1,14, Luke 3:22, John 10:30.
WE BELIEVE man was originally created righteous in the image and likeness of God. The first man, Adam, through disobedience, fell from the grace of God and, thus, sin and death entered into the human race. Adam’s disobedience incurred not only physical death for man, but also spiritual death which is separation from God. Man’s inclination to sin because of his sinful nature requires salvation from the power of sin and a Savior to provide that salvation. Genesis 3:7-24, Romans 5:12-19
WE BELIEVE man’s only means of redemption and salvation from sin is through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. His blood is entirely sufficient to deliver every person from the power and penalty of sin. Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 9:12
WE BELIEVE baptism is by immersion in water as commanded in the Scriptures. All who repent of their sins and believe in Christ as Savior and Lord are to be baptized. Romans 6:3-5, Matthew 28:18-20
WE BELIEVE in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit as distinct from and subsequent to the new birth, in speaking with tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance, in the gifts of the Spirit, and the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit. Acts 2:4, Galatians 5:22.
WE BELIEVE in HOLY COMMUNION (The Lord’s Supper), consisting of bread and a cup of the fruit of the vine, is a remembrance of Jesus’ suffering and death until He comes again. I Cor. 11:23-26, Matthew 26:26-28
WE BELIEVE divine healing is God’s provision for all believers, because Christ has purchased our freedom, redeeming us from the curse of the law which includes every kind of sickness and disease. Galatians 3:13, Deuteronomy 28:21-65, Psalm 103:2-3, Isaiah 53:4-5, Romans 8:11, I Peter 2:24, James 5:14-15, Hebrews 13:8
WE BELIEVE in evangelism and missionary work in accordance with the commission (Matthew 28:19).WE BELIEVE in the believer’s hope- that is the soon-coming and millennial reign of the Lord Jesus Christ.
